About Membership in AAUP-KSU
Membership entitles you to an active voice in determining the issues, goals, and priorities of AAUP-KSU and to voting rights with regard to contract issues. In particular, membership gives you an active voice in determining the issues and priorities established for negotiations.
While you are not required to be a member of AAUP-KSU to share in the benefits of collective bargaining, we hope that you will consider that option. Members provide ideas, leadership and financial support to the organization. Membership in AAUP-KSU includes membership in the national AAUP and the Ohio Conference AAUP. It is important to note that if you choose not to become a member of AAUP-KSU, you will still pay a representation fee towards its support. Membership forms may be downloaded directly from the site and FAQ sheets are available that describe both the importance and benefits of supporting the Association through either membership or the representation fee.

“I joined AAUP-KSU because after years as a fair-share member, I have been able to see first-hand the true extent to which AAUP-KSU has been an incredible advocate for academic, work and living issues. Winning the iPad is great, but the true prize is that I am represented by AAUP-KSU!” - Steven Turner
